One of the books I have stumbled upon lately that just swept me into a reading frenzy is the City of Thieves by David Benioff. This adventure starts off quickly and continues to draw you in until you can’t do anything but read, read, read.
One of the best things about this book is of course the story but also how it is woven together with factual history and information. I love a book that does this because I learn some great stuff at the same time I enjoy a great fiction story. This particular book gave me details about the German invasion of Russia that I did not know.
There has been another great story out recently that does this very well. Its called the Davinci Code, I am sure you have heard of it. In fact I am reading the new recent release called The Lost Symbol. It has me on the edge of my seat just like the first two books did.
