Life Balance

In this exercise in the Creating Your Life Series we are going to work on balance.  Setting goals in only one area of your life is like rowing a boat with one oar – you go around in circles and never make any real progress.   It leads to a one-dimensional life that is sure to become lacking in other vital life fulfilling areas.

To have a balanced life it is important to set goals in all areas of your life, not just the fame and fortune goals.   Below is a list of some of the more general categories.  You can add more to your list that fit your own personal life desires.  A few of my own personal goals that could be considered sub-categories of some of the areas below are organization, personal time and diet.  It’s important to be specific in areas you need to focus on.  Don’t generalize or you will tend to drift from the real action you need to take to reach the goal.

The exercise today is simple.  Make your list and set five-year goals in all of these areas.

Here is the General List of Life Balance.
